With companies and organizations on the hunt for solutions to fight against counterfeiters and piracy, IACC has taken charge. Also known as the International Anti Counterfeiting Coalition Inc., IACC is a non-profit organization that is driven and determined to put an end to product counterfeiting and piracy. The IACC is the oldest organization of their kind that is still running today. They have acquired more than 250 company members spanning over more than 40 countries. Spreading and promoting the words of anti-counterfeit specialists and new laws and regulations against piracy, the IACC is continuing to make a difference in the fight against illegal product manipulation. Over the past 4 decades the IACC has transitioned from a few members interested in brand protection coming together, into hundreds of members coming together to combat this illegal action. Not only does the IACC stand for fighting against counterfeits and piracy because it is illegal but also because these counterfeit products can cause harm and put consumers in danger. By bringing like-minded members together the IACC is putting one foot in front of the other, working towards protecting these consumers who can potentially be at risk and danger.
Communication between different governments and right holders allows the IACC to be able to move forward with their motive. Constantly working with law enforcement makes way for the IACC members to be well informed on a professional level. With the level of corrupt products rising, the IACC is fighting harder than ever. In order to bring all members together and take action as one, the organization holds conferences and events where all members, consumers, brands and solution providers can be under one roof to interact and communicate one on one. Conferences and events like those help by IACC incorporating workshops where the members are able to learn about new ideas and hear from speakers who provide valuable information. Training sessions are held to keep attendees informed with laws and regulations to put towards brand protection.
Organizations like IACC are greatly appreciated for what they offer. Their events conferences are looked forward to. This May IACC will be holding their Spring Conference in Boston where all attendees and members will be coming together once again.
