March 18, 2019

Pharmaceutical products are counterfeited items with some of the most harmful outcomes on consumers. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration protects those who consume pharmaceutical products by making sure they are safe for use. The FDA sends out a warning to companies when there are items being sold that have not been approved, misbranded or are considered to be unsafe. CanaRx is a company that supplies pharmaceutical drugs for a lower cost. Certain drugs being distributed by CanaRx have been traced to be declared as drugs that are considered not safe by the FDA. CanaRx has now been warned and should not be distributing these drugs as they can be harmful to consumers.

The FDA has released an article about the warning that they have directed to CanaRx. In the article it states that these distributed drugs, among many reasons, are also potential counterfeits. Products being tampered to some degree is a very common situation that pharmaceutical companies experience. Luckily the FDA has warned CanaRx with the urge to protect consumers. Those who seek harm on companies and their consumers by tampering products are constantly multiplying so it is important to take a proactive approach to preventing counterfeiting and tampered products.
