POSITION SUMMARY:
Covisus is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a systems engineering and manufacturing background with room for growth to senior operational leadership positions with the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for coordinating the effort to deliver product on time and within budget
• Generate specifications from requirements gathered from different teams
• Guide decisions to optimize product for cost, manufacturability, quality, performance, reliability, serviceability, and usability
• Documentation of product engineering processes and procedures
• Work closely with scientists and engineers
• Responsible for quality control of product
• Technical support for existing customers
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Experienced in the processes necessary for effective product engineering and integration
• Recent full product life cycle development of commercial non-software products with respect to product engineering and integration
• Previous exposure to supply chain, supplier quality, and procurement operations in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with industry standard software, hardware, and service quality practices
• Mastery of specifications and testing documentation and execution
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s or masters degree in a technical discipline
• Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
